Japan Relief Offering Update

Our co-workers and children have raised an amount totaling $1476.80, and we have sent the amount to Samaritan’s Purse Canada. We thank God for those who contributed in prayer to help unfortunate Japanese victims. We also thank God for the prayer support of other ministries, and other church organizations contributing to the relief effort.

May God bless his work in Japan, Canada, and the whole world.

Japan Freewill Offering

We will be collecting a freewill offering to support disaster relief for Japan until April 10th. Our CBF kids also are preparing a bake sale on Saturday, April 2nd. Afterwards, we will send the offering to a charitable organization that can best use the funds. May God help the Japanese people be comforted during this tragedy.

N.B. If you would like to offer right away, the cbc has posted several options to send aid on their site.

2009 Montreal UBF Christmas Service

We are in the midst of preparing our Christmas service on December 20th, 2009

Our prayer topics are as follows:

  • Main Message by S. David Jumeau
  • Music Message led by S. Andrew Christopher
  • Christmas play message led by S. John Giesbrecht

The program starts at 2pm and finishes at 5pm. Christmas dinner will be served afterwards.

Our Christmas offering will support the Bethesda medical clinic in Uganda for ongoing construction to the facility. Please see http://www.ubfmedicalmission.com for more information on UBF medical missions.

May God bless our Christmas through the message of Christ’s birth!

Addendum: Let’s pray that there will be no snowstorm before the service. The past two years, there had been snowstorms which prevented our students, friends and family to not come. May God help those we have invited to participate Christmas.
